Peco's Story Peco is a big part of my life. I call him my little Guardian Angel. Nine years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and my husband bought him to keep me company. He only weighed 1 1/2 lbs. We taught him to sit down by my chair so I could pick him up. He loved sitting in my lap and soon became my "stitching buddy". Together, we won our battle and he still likes to sit in my lap.
He sometimes gets his ears caught in my stitches and has to sit patiently while I rip him out. That part he does not like. I am sure there are little black doggy hairs in a lot of my work. What does Peco think about this
Me giving Stonewall a treat
Stonewall is my favorite neighbor-hood pet. He is a great Pyrenees (mountain dog) and a GENTLE GIANT. To know him is to ADORE him. I just LOVE his visits for a "treat". I quickly found that A half packet of food" just won`t do".
No dumb dog here. He will lay "flat out" across my front door entrance until he gets all of what he came for.
Thanks to my neighbors for letting him visit.
